Devynerios Labels

Devynerios Labels

Devynerios Labels is an award-winning packaging design project that exemplifies the harmonious blend of traditional Lithuanian heritage with contemporary design aesthetics in the beverage industry. Created by Lithuanian designer Asta Kauspedaite, this sophisticated label design system was developed for a family of herbal liqueurs that holds a leading position in the Lithuanian market. The design concept masterfully incorporates symbolic elements representing the three planes of pagan mythology - the underworld, earth, and sky - creating a unified visual identity while maintaining distinct characteristics for each product variant. The labels feature intricate botanical illustrations that emphasize the natural ingredients and herbal compositions unique to each liqueur, implemented through advanced printing techniques including flexo printing, hot foil, and embossing. The design solution effectively addresses the challenge of maintaining brand cohesion while differentiating between product variants, with each label telling its own story: Originalios communicates authenticity, Zalios presents a multi-layered mystical world of herbs, and Raudonos expresses courage and youthfulness through asymmetrical compositions and vibrant colors. Measuring 75mm in width and 250mm in height, these labels demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and technical execution, earning recognition with a Silver A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, acknowledging their contribution to advancing industry standards through innovative design solutions that effectively balance aesthetic appeal with functional requirements.
