Design Of Wall-mounted Nappy Changing Platforms

A wall-mounted nappy changing platform is a piece of baby furniture that is designed to be installed on a wall and used to change a baby's diapers. It typically consists of a flat surface for the baby to lie on, a rail or barrier to prevent the baby from rolling off, and storage compartments for storing nappies, wipes, and other changing essentials. To design a good wall-mounted nappy changing platform, certain criteria must be met. Firstly, the platform should be made of sturdy and durable materials that can support the weight of the baby while ensuring their safety. Secondly, the surface should be comfortable and easy to clean, with a non-slip surface to prevent slippage. Thirdly, the storage compartments should be easily accessible and well-organized, with enough space to store all the necessary items for changing a baby. Fourthly, the rail or barrier should be high enough to prevent the baby from rolling off but low enough for easy access. Lastly, the platform should be easy to install and have a sleek and visually appealing design that complements the décor of the changing area. In addition to these criteria, designers should also consider adding features such as built-in lighting, a built-in baby scale, or even a sound system to help soothe the baby during changing time.
