Design Of Alarms For Motor Vehicles
Alarms for motor vehicles are electronic security systems designed to alert owners and other parties of security breaches or potential security breaches to their vehicles. They typically include a network of sensors and controls that monitor various aspects of the vehicle and trigger an audible and/or visual alarm in the event of attempted theft, break-ins or any other unauthorized access. Alarms for motor vehicles have become increasingly important in recent years as car theft has become more rampant. A well-designed alarm should have several features. First, it should have a range of sensors that detect unauthorized entry and/or movement of the vehicle. These sensors should be sensitive enough to detect any attempts to force open the doors, trunk or hood of the car, as well as any attempts to tow or jack up the car. Second, the alarm should have adjustable sensitivity controls to reduce false alarms, as well as a keypad or remote control for easy activation and deactivation. Third, the alarm should include monitoring and notification technology such as SMS messaging or call alert to allow for remote activation and deactivation. Fourth, the sound of the alarm must be loud enough to attract attention to the vehicle, but not so loud that it disturbs people in the surrounding environment. Fifth, the alarm should be designed to be tamper-proof to avoid easy deactivation by unauthorized people, which could defeat the entire purpose of having an alarm system.
