Dental INN - A Therapy-lounge Therapy-Lounge For Dental Beauty

Dental INN - a therapy-lounge Therapy-Lounge For Dental Beauty is an innovative dental facility design concept that revolutionizes traditional dental practice environments through its therapeutic and nature-inspired approach. Located in Viernheim, Germany, this 300-square-meter facility exemplifies a groundbreaking interior design philosophy centered on the healing effects of organic shapes and natural structures. The design's centerpiece is a striking white, organically shaped island surrounded by transparent glass walls featuring monochrome prints of the Viernheim forest, creating a seamless connection between medical functionality and biophilic design principles. The facility encompasses six treatment rooms, a sterilization area, conference space, and a patient lounge, all integrated around a multifunctional central island that houses the reception desk, x-ray room, back office, and kitchenette. The interior's sophisticated design language is expressed through a carefully curated color palette of non-colors (white, anthracite, and gray shades), complemented by programmable LED illumination that creates dynamic color scenarios. The floor covering, utilizing self-leveling compound technology, presents a unique, jointless surface that pays homage to forest glades through freehand design patterns. This Bronze A' Design Award-winning project in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category further enhances the patient experience through an integrated audio-visual environment, contributing to client and staff relaxation while setting new standards for dental practice design through its innovative fusion of healthcare functionality and therapeutic aesthetics.
