Deloitte Taiwan Office Building

Deloitte Taiwan Office Building

Deloitte Taiwan Office Building is an innovative commercial office complex spanning eight floors across 23,100 square meters, distinguished by its groundbreaking approach to sustainable workplace design and winner of the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category. Designed by Kathy Chien, this architectural masterpiece reimagines the traditional office environment through its core concept of Green House, emphasizing environmental sustainability and employee well-being. The building's design philosophy manifests through thoughtful material selection, including natural stone, wood, and living plant walls, creating a harmonious blend of nature and workspace. Notable technological innovations include the implementation of electrified glass, which reduces building heat absorption by 25% and decreases air conditioning usage by 20%, demonstrating a significant commitment to energy efficiency. The interior space breaks away from conventional office layouts by incorporating cylindrical design elements, moss-covered feature walls that provide natural moisture absorption and air regulation, and strategically placed recreational areas that promote the Work Happy, Work Anywhere concept. The project overcame significant architectural challenges, successfully transforming a traditionally compartmentalized floor plan into an open, light-filled environment through careful consideration of building regulations and innovative space planning. The design's sophisticated integration of rounded furniture arrangements, industrial lighting elements, and biophilic design principles creates a dynamic workplace that balances professional functionality with environmental consciousness.
