Deebot Ozmo 610 Floor Cleaning Robot

Deebot Ozmo 610 Floor Cleaning Robot

Deebot Ozmo 610 Floor Cleaning Robot is an innovative automated floor cleaning system that represents a significant advancement in domestic robotics technology, designed by Li Xiao Wen, Yu Xin Tong, and Chi Xu. This sophisticated home appliance integrates Smart Move technology with a gyroscope sensor to execute systematic cleaning patterns, marking a departure from traditional random-path robotic cleaners. The device's intelligent path-planning capabilities enable it to clean in an S-shaped route, effectively eliminating cleaning omissions and redundant coverage. Distinguished by its versatile cleaning methodology, it features an interchangeable cleaning system comprising a V-shaped rolling brush and suction inlet, complemented by a substantial 300ml electronically-controlled water tank for comprehensive floor maintenance. The robot's dimensions of 35x35x7.9cm and weight of 3kg make it suitable for various residential environments, capable of efficiently cleaning spaces between 120-150 square meters. The design emphasizes environmental consciousness through the implementation of non-spray paint finishes and IMR technology for texture enhancement. This innovative cleaning solution, which earned the Silver A' Design Award in the Home Appliances Design category in 2018, showcases advanced features including smart app connectivity for remote operation, real-time tracking capabilities, and automated charging functionality. The development process, spanning from August 2016 to August 2017 in Suzhou, China, involved extensive research into dust control, liquid stain removal, and optimal water discharge rates, resulting in a product that effectively combines sweeping and mopping functionalities in a single unit.
