Dee Pendant lamps is an innovative lighting design collection comprising two distinct pendant lamps that share identical metal tops, dimensioning, and form factors, exemplifying a harmonious blend of modern and contemporary aesthetics. Created by Danish design firm Bonnelycke mdd, these pendant lamps draw inspiration from the ethereal beauty of misty mornings just before sunrise, translating this natural phenomenon into functional lighting solutions. The collection features two variations: a glass version and a metal version, each offering unique illumination characteristics while maintaining a cohesive design language. The glass variant incorporates a partially dusted bottom section that creates an enchanting mist-like effect, producing a soft, ambient glow that appears to float within the glass bowl. The metal version, designed with a more contemporary approach, features a classic metal shade combined with an opalized diffuser that produces a comfortable, directed illumination particularly suitable for placement above tables. Both versions demonstrate exceptional craftsmanship through traditional metal pressing and blown glass techniques, with the glass version incorporating selective sanding to achieve its distinctive misty effect. The design's technical specifications include a diameter of 350mm and heights of 390mm and 295mm, offering versatile installation options.
