Dear.Odd Collectible Toy

Dear.Odd Collectible Toy

Dear.Odd Collectible toy is a distinguished designer art toy that represents the first installment in the contemplative Karma Series, crafted through meticulous handmade processes in resin sculpture. This innovative collectible, standing at 130mm x 110mm x 230mm, embodies a profound artistic exploration of human consciousness and emotional depth through its distinctive one-eyed design and intricate carved-in tattoos, symbolizing individual trauma and unconscious experiences. The sculpture, which earned the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in the Toys, Games and Hobby Products Design category, demonstrates exceptional artistic merit through its sophisticated combination of dark yet elegant aesthetics, featuring a modular design comprising separable body, arms, crown, and heart components. Inspired by the evocative lyrics and ambiance of iconic musical works such as Radiohead's Karma Police and The Beatles' Across the Universe, this limited-edition piece, with only ten pieces produced in each color variant, represents a significant achievement in contemporary toy design, merging artistic expression with collectible appeal. The design's philosophical underpinning explores themes of memory, nostalgia, and personal identity, while its technical execution showcases masterful craftsmanship through hand-sculpted forms, silicon molding, and manual painting processes. As an interior design element weighing 700 grams, it serves both decorative and contemplative purposes, encouraging viewers to reflect on their own emotional landscapes while appreciating its artistic sophistication.
