Danuna Washbasin 2in1

Danuna Washbasin 2in1

Danuna Washbasin 2in1 is an innovative bathroom fixture that revolutionizes traditional washbasin design by integrating the faucet seamlessly into the basin structure, creating a minimalist and space-efficient solution. Designed by Ekaterina Matveeva, this groundbreaking sanitary ware concept eliminates the need for visible taps while maintaining full functionality through an integrated system that combines the properties of a shower drain and a concealed faucet. The design, measuring 650mm x 450mm x 220mm, features intuitive controls reminiscent of stereo acoustic systems and can be powered either through conventional electrical networks or via a lithium battery with minimal power consumption. The washbasin's versatile construction allows for manufacturing using various materials including marble, porcelain stoneware, lithium marble, sanitary acrylic, stainless steel, plastic, glass, or cast iron, offering interior designers extensive creative possibilities. Its hollow bottom design facilitates easy maintenance access, while the siphon system is modeled after shower drain technology, with the option to install a thermostat. The innovative design earned recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Bathroom Furniture and Sanitary Ware Design category, acknowledging its contribution to modern bathroom design through its practical functionality, aesthetic appeal, and space-saving properties. The washbasin's unique configuration allows for versatile placement options, including installation in front of windows or mirrors without visual obstruction, while its built-in mixer design reduces water splashing and enhances user convenience.
