Dahua Pan An Lake Residential Area

Dahua Pan An Lake Residential Area

Dahua Pan An Lake Residential Area is an exemplary residential landscape development located in Xuzhou City, Jiangsu province, China, that masterfully integrates ancient Chinese cultural elements with contemporary living spaces. Designed by Tian Zheng and completed in August 2019, this 13,000-square-meter project stands as a remarkable testament to cultural preservation through modern architectural interpretation. The development's distinctive feature lies in its sophisticated implementation of six interconnected courtyards, collectively known as the Field Of Six Prosperous Times, comprising Ming Zhang Street, Han Wu Gate, Zhaoxuanting, Guangwu Pool, Wenjing Garden, and Yongyuan Lake. These spaces are harmoniously united through an innovative water system that creates fluid transitions between outdoor areas. The design employs premium materials including Moorstone, Quartz brick, and U glass to achieve its architectural vision. The project's significance stems from its location in Xuzhou, the birthplace of two prominent Han cultures, and its success in preserving this rich heritage while adapting to modern residential requirements. The development's thoughtful integration of outdoor rooms and water features creates an artistic atmosphere that enhances the living experience. This exceptional fusion of historical elements with contemporary design earned the project a Golden A' Design Award in the Landscape Planning and Garden Design category in 2021, recognizing its innovative approach to residential landscape architecture and its contribution to cultural preservation through design.
