Craft And Art Residential Space

Craft and Art Residential Space is an innovative residential interior design project that masterfully blends the sophistication of luxury hotels with comfortable living spaces, exemplifying contemporary approaches to high-end residential design. Located in Tamsui, New Taipei City, this 256-square-foot space encompasses three bedrooms, a living room, and a dining room, characterized by its thoughtful integration of art gallery aesthetics and practical living requirements. The design, recognized with a Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, showcases an exceptional balance between functionality and artistic expression through its careful material selection, including iron pieces, stone, marble, solid wood, and specialized paint finishes. The project's distinctive features include large-scale windows that frame riverbank views, creating a seamless connection between interior and exterior spaces while emphasizing natural light and spatial flow. The design philosophy incorporates environmental consciousness through the use of natural materials, while sophisticated gray color palettes and mirror elements create visual depth and spatial tension. The mansion-style living chamber serves as the residence's centerpiece, demonstrating a harmonious blend of luxury and practicality, while the multifunctional bar and dining areas accommodate various lifestyle needs from entertainment to work. The project's innovative approach to beam design, utilizing curved elements to complement the riverfront architecture, exemplifies its attention to both aesthetic and practical considerations, while the careful curation of art collections and decorative elements throughout the space reinforces its gallery-like ambiance.
