CR Land Luyang MiXC Retail

CR Land Luyang MiXC Retail is an innovative architectural masterpiece and retail development that revolutionizes the traditional shopping mall concept through its integration of nature, sports, and commercial spaces. Located in Hefei City, China, this Silver A' Design Award-winning project encompasses a gross floor area of 76,115 square meters and accommodates over 220 tenants within its thoughtfully designed spaces. The development's most distinctive feature is its groundbreaking sky sports park, which includes mainland China's first cantilevered running track integrated into a shopping mall's structure. The architectural design emphasizes a harmonious blend of indoor and outdoor spaces through the implementation of five distinct garden levels that serve as urban buffers, creating a vertical city garden concept that responds to contemporary urban lifestyle needs. The project, completed in 2019, showcases exceptional architectural innovation through its horse-track loop circulation design within a 75-meter depth floor plan, transparent flooring elements, and sophisticated steel structure engineering. The facade features unified metal fins that create dynamic lighting and shadow effects, contributing to the building's striking visual presence in the urban landscape. The development's holistic approach to wellness and retail is manifested through unique amenities including a sky court, sky swimming pool, and various sports facilities, all designed to promote community well-being while providing diverse shopping experiences. The project demonstrates remarkable technical achievement in its mechanical and structural engineering, particularly in the strategic placement of MEP rooms to achieve an unobstructed roof design for the sky park, exemplifying how contemporary retail architecture can successfully integrate commercial functions with recreational spaces and natural elements.
