Corn Design Office Space

Corn Design Office Space

Corn Design Office Space is an innovative interior design project completed in 2019, encompassing 1300 square meters of contemporary workspace that masterfully balances nature and order while redefining traditional office environments. Located in Ningbo city, China, this sophisticated office design, created by veteran interior designer Gang Zheng, breaks conventional boundaries between human environments and natural elements through thoughtful spatial planning and material selection. The design philosophy centers on creating an open, dynamic, and vivid space that caters to young creative teams while maintaining practical office functionality. A distinctive feature of the space is its unified public zone, where the reception area, hall, and conference room seamlessly integrate, showcasing multi-layered beauty in both progression and interaction. The sharing hall, designed as an independent box, serves as the office's centerpiece, featuring tiered seating arrangements and colorfully varied stools that create an atmosphere of casual elegance. The space employs a sophisticated material palette including terrazzo, square carpet, green plant walls, and sound-absorbing elements to achieve optimal acoustics and aesthetic appeal. A striking red sculpture, visible through glass partitions, symbolizes the aspirational spirit of the workplace's occupants. The design earned recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its innovative approach to workplace design. The project's success lies in its ability to create a harmonious environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and personal expression while maintaining professional functionality through careful consideration of spatial dynamics, material selection, and acoustic performance.
