Copper COPPER whiskey bar & lounge is an exemplary 3,000-square-feet contemporary hospitality design project located in the heart of Kunming, China's downtown shopping district, representing a sophisticated interpretation of the traditional whiskey bar concept. This meticulously crafted interior space, which earned the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design category, seamlessly integrates modern design elements with classic English brasserie aesthetics to create an exceptional whiskey tasting environment. The establishment's most distinctive architectural feature is its dramatic entrance tunnel composed of copper steel strip lights, drawing inspiration from traditional whisky houses and distilleries, which guides patrons into the main space. The interior architecture is anchored by a commanding central bar featuring a white marble tabletop, complemented by a bespoke copper chandelier that serves as a focal point. The space is further enhanced by three-story high glass windows and a thoughtfully designed mezzanine VIP stage, incorporating curved design elements that evoke the fluid motion of whiskey being poured. The sophisticated material palette combines copper steel with black oak, while the color scheme employs dark grey base tones accented by water blue, pine green, and tangerine orange elements in the furnishings. Custom-designed leather and velvet seating areas create distinct zones within the space while maintaining a harmonious balance between masculine and feminine design elements. The lighting design employs varied sources and tones to create atmospheric differentiation throughout the venue, contributing to its sophisticated ambiance and highlighting its function as a premium entertainment destination.
