Cooker Hood
A cooker hood is a mechanical ventilation device installed above a stove or cooktop in a kitchen. It is designed to capture and remove smoke, odors, heat, humidity, and grease from the air. The hood typically consists of a metal canopy, fan, filter, and duct work. The canopy is mounted above the stove or cooktop and houses the fan, filter, and duct work. The fan draws air through the filter and into the duct work, where it is then expelled to the outside of the building. The filter captures grease, smoke, and other particulates, ensuring that the air in the kitchen is kept clean and free from contaminants.
