COMPOSE Multifunctional working space is an innovative interior design project that reimagines the contemporary workspace paradigm, created by designer Michael Tu in Taiwan. This sophisticated architectural intervention, completed in January 2018, encompasses 661 square meters of thoughtfully crafted space that seamlessly integrates various functional zones while maintaining a delicate balance between openness and privacy. The design philosophy centers on creating a micro-public environment that facilitates multiple activities including exhibitions, speeches, reading, and collaborative work, all while maintaining spatial fluidity through the implementation of low-height partitions and strategic space planning. The project's distinctive approach to spatial organization employs premium materials including iron, marble, and super wear-resistant flooring, complemented by woven rugs that add warmth to the aesthetic composition. A notable feature of the design is its connection to the urban context, achieved through the strategic opening of exterior walls that create a visual dialogue between the interior environment and the street landscape. The space serves as a platform for creative professionals, particularly supporting younger designers who require resources and collaborative opportunities, thereby fostering innovation and cross-disciplinary interaction. This forward-thinking design earned recognition with a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its excellence in spatial innovation and functional versatility.
