Colours Product Exhibition is an innovative interior design installation that revolutionizes the presentation of paper products through a sophisticated interplay of color gradients and spatial organization. Created by Italian designer Emilio Lonardo, this 300-square-meter exhibition space transforms a photographic atelier into an immersive chromatic experience through three distinct zones: Paper Tradition, Paper Innovation, and Paper Revolution. The exhibition's primary architectural element consists of carefully suspended colored paper sheets, creating dramatic ceiling-to-floor installations that follow meticulously planned gradient patterns. The space employs tensioned wire systems to achieve its floating paper effect, while black-painted wooden elements adorned with paper mosaic coverings serve as product display surfaces. The exhibition's tripartite structure effectively narrates the evolution of paper-making, with the Paper Tradition area showcasing historical aspects through decorative paper mosaics, the Paper Innovation section featuring a sophisticated lounge area utilizing Flash Mate material, and the Paper Revolution zone offering an interactive digital installation developed in collaboration with Monogrid. This groundbreaking exhibition design, which earned the Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates exceptional spatial planning, material innovation, and interactive design elements. The project's success lies in its ability to transform industrial materials into an artistic statement while maintaining functional exhibition spaces, effectively combining aesthetic appeal with practical showcase requirements.
