Coloriamo Packaging For Clay Statues

Coloriamo Packaging For Clay Statues

Coloriamo Packaging for clay statues is an innovative packaging design solution created by Andreas Kioroglou that revolutionizes the presentation and protection of high-quality fayans clay statues for the children's toy market. The design, which garnered a Silver A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, features a sophisticated window box construction measuring 26 x 10 x 14 centimeters, crafted from E-Flute corrugated board and premium SBS 450gsm material. The packaging's distinctive feature lies in its before-and-after display concept, which effectively demonstrates the creative potential of the enclosed statues through a transparent window, encouraging young artists to envision the possibilities of their artistic expression. The structural engineering incorporates extensive safety considerations, with numerous drop tests conducted to ensure the delicate clay statues remain protected during transportation and handling. The offset printing technique employed in the production enhances the visual appeal of the packaging, while the carefully designed statue holder maintains product visibility without compromising security. The four-month development process resulted in a packaging solution that not only serves its functional purpose but also elevates the premium nature of the product through its thoughtful design elements, which were directly inspired by professionally painted versions of the statues. This innovative approach to packaging design successfully addresses the dual challenges of product protection and marketing appeal, making it a noteworthy contribution to the field of packaging design for children's creative products.
