Collector's Stage Residential Apartment
Collector's Stage Residential Apartment is an exemplary residential interior design project located at the peak of Hong Kong, distinguished by its harmonious integration of natural surroundings with sophisticated living spaces. This innovative residential design, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space Design category, masterfully demonstrates the principle that exceptional design can be invisible, allowing the spectacular mountain and harbor views to take center stage. The apartment's design philosophy draws significant inspiration from Scandinavian furniture-making traditions and Bauhaus principles, emphasizing functionalism and modernity while incorporating the owner's collection of Northern European antiques and modern paintings. The interior architecture employs a sophisticated system of concealed panels and storage solutions, creating a minimalist, monolithic space characterized by clean lines and light-colored teak and oak wood finishes. Natural materials and sculptured lighting are thoughtfully implemented to create a tranquil atmosphere that seamlessly blends with the surrounding environment. The design incorporates high-technology elements, including comprehensive smart living systems and advanced audiovisual capabilities, while maintaining its serene aesthetic. A dedicated wine cellar and multi-functional entertainment room cater to the owner's lifestyle needs, while acoustic panels, concealed doors, and display shelves are seamlessly integrated into the wall covering panels, exemplifying the perfect balance between functionality and aesthetic refinement. This project, completed in October 2018, represents a significant achievement in contemporary residential design, where technology, art collection display, and daily living requirements are harmoniously unified within a nature-inspired setting.
