Cohesion Residential Sample House is an innovative residential interior design project completed in New Taipei City, Taiwan, that masterfully demonstrates the harmonious integration of modern aesthetics with functional living spaces. The 42.97-square-meter dwelling, designed by Andersen Chiu, exemplifies sophisticated spatial planning through its thoughtful combination of fair-faced concrete features, wooden elements, and strategic lighting solutions. The design's distinctive approach to materiality incorporates sustainable principles through the use of reusable timber and durable natural materials such as wood veneer and granite, which can be recycled post-demolition. The interior architecture is characterized by its meticulous attention to detail, featuring a beveled TV wall enhanced with strip lighting, clear glass open cabinets for display purposes, and an unconventional back wall composition that combines veneer with composed gray wallpaper. The space planning demonstrates exceptional versatility through its innovative storage solutions, including a custom-designed wardrobe system and the strategic placement of a granite-legged dining table that maintains design coherence throughout the shared areas.
