Code Design Studio Design Studio

Code Design Studio Design Studio is an innovative architectural workspace that exemplifies contemporary design principles through its parametric paradigm and minimalist aesthetic. Conceived and executed by architects Rajat Sanghvi and Naina Reddy, this 115-square-meter interior space represents a sophisticated merger of technology and creativity in architectural practice. The design philosophy centers on the concept of a contemporary cube with a parametric paradigm, manifesting through experimental materiality, strategic porosity, and refined styling. The studio's layout encompasses four primary zones: two 5x3.5-meter cabins, a 10x3.5-meter workspace area, a 3.5x3.5-meter reception area, and a 4.5x3-meter conference room, all unified through consistent material applications and design language. The space celebrates exposed concrete as its primary material, complemented by oakwood veneer, birch plywood, leather, and stone accents. A notable feature includes a customized parametric wall installation in the conference area, inspired by sound waves and crafted from precisely cut birch plywood sections. The design follows gestalt theory principles, incorporating visual symbolism and maintaining a delicate balance between practical functionality and perceptual expression. The project, completed in December 2019, earned recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its innovative approach to workspace design and its successful integration of contemporary architectural principles. The studio's design emphasizes open, luminous spaces that facilitate collaboration while maintaining professional hierarchy through subtle spatial delineation.
