Club of Beijing No. 10 Plot Club is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of traditional Chinese garden aesthetics with contemporary spatial design principles. Located within a residential community in Beijing, this 900-square-meter establishment represents a sophisticated reinterpretation of communal spaces, drawing inspiration from the white space technique prevalent in Chinese painting. The design concept begins with a sunken garden and unfolds in a manner reminiscent of traditional Chinese garden architecture, where varying perspectives reveal different spatial experiences. The interior layout incorporates multiple functional zones, including living rooms, study areas, and entertainment facilities, all designed to create a home-like atmosphere for community members. The project's distinctive approach to spatial organization employs the principle of varying scenery with changing viewpoints, a fundamental characteristic of classical Chinese garden design. The facade treatment demonstrates a modern interpretation of Chinese artistic elements, utilizing clean lines and bright surfaces that echo the aesthetic principles of traditional ink paintings. This innovative design earned recognition at the A' Design Award competition, receiving a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2019, acknowledging its successful integration of cultural elements with contemporary design solutions.
