Close Landscape Residential House

Close Landscape Residential House

Close Landscape Residential House is an exemplary residential architectural project completed in 2015, situated in Tamsui, Taiwan, that masterfully integrates natural surroundings with contemporary living spaces. The 252-square-meter residence, designed by architect Ding-Rui Tai, features a revolutionary 270-degree window design that creates an unprecedented connection between interior spaces and the surrounding mountain and ocean vistas. The design philosophy emphasizes minimal interference with the natural environment while maximizing the integration of landscape elements into the living experience. The structure employs a sophisticated material palette including wood, marble, iron, stone, glass, and titanium-plated stainless steel, creating a harmonious balance between architectural elements and natural surroundings. The interior layout is ingeniously divided using a central gallery route, establishing distinct yet interconnected public and private zones. The public spaces feature stable stone walls and expansive views, while private areas maintain intimate seclusion. This innovative approach to spatial organization earned the project a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, recognizing its exceptional contribution to residential architecture and interior design. The residence stands as a testament to thoughtful design that addresses modern living requirements while maintaining a deep connection to its natural context, offering its occupants a peaceful retreat that balances openness with stability, and luxury with functionality.
