City Of Sky Residence

City Of Sky Residence

City of Sky Residence is an exemplary contemporary residential project that masterfully integrates modern architecture with natural elements, showcasing a sophisticated approach to luxury living spaces. Located in Shanghai and completed in 2020, this 1,200-square-meter residence represents a harmonious blend of artistic style and functional design, earning recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category. Designed by Haochen Su, the project embodies the philosophical concept of eliminating complexity and preserving simplicity while creating a dynamic interplay between virtual and real spatial elements. The interior design demonstrates exceptional material selection, featuring a bold combination of rough volcanic stone, copper plating, and original ecological wood veneer, which creates a compelling textural narrative throughout the space. The residence's design philosophy emphasizes the contemporary urban dweller's need for both spiritual and material fulfillment, achieved through thoughtful spatial planning and material selection. Natural elements are prominently incorporated, with primitive stone colorations melting seamlessly into the overall design scheme, creating an environment that bridges the gap between nature and modern fashion. The project's success lies in its innovative approach to spatial organization, the bold use of materials, and its ability to create a lasting quality through the careful juxtaposition of textures and surfaces, ultimately transforming a mere living space into a meaningful repository of lifelong memories.
