City Gather Forest Themed Park

City Gather Forest Themed Park

City Gather Forest Themed Park is an innovative urban landscape design project that exemplifies the harmonious integration of natural ecology with urban living spaces, completed in January 2021 in Changsha, China. This 10,000-square-meter development represents a sophisticated approach to contemporary landscape architecture, where forest-themed elements are seamlessly woven into the urban fabric to create a multifunctional community space. The park's design philosophy centers on three key elements: ecology, vitality, and pleasure, manifested through thoughtfully curated vegetation, dynamic light and shadow interplay, and artistic installations featuring deer motifs. The space incorporates various interactive elements, including a distinctive deer house slide, colorful runways, seesaws, and fitness equipment, all of which serve as artistic mediators between nature and urban life. The design's sophisticated approach to landscape planning is evident in its simulation of natural wetland ecology, featuring winding paths, babbling streams, and strategic placement of sculptural elements that create a rich sensory experience. The park's innovative design, which earned it a Silver A' Design Award in the Landscape Planning and Garden Design category, successfully addresses the contemporary urban dweller's desire for natural connections while maintaining functional community spaces. The project stands out for its integration of parent-child interaction zones, social gathering spaces, and artistic installations that collectively create a vibrant public sphere where urban culture and ecological preservation coexist harmoniously.
