Citra Minimalist Home

Citra Minimalist Home

Citra Minimalist Home is an award-winning interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of contemporary minimalism with Indonesian cultural elements, created by designers Juan Farell Haryanto and Ie Ie Han. This sophisticated residential interior space showcases a thoughtful implementation of the less is more philosophy, featuring a carefully curated selection of custom-built furniture and design elements that emphasize high-quality local materials and meticulous attention to detail. The design concept draws inspiration from Indonesia's natural beauty, incorporating a refined color palette of browns, greys, and blacks to create a serene and calming atmosphere. The project, completed in December 2022, demonstrates exceptional space optimization through innovative storage solutions and built-in furniture, complemented by strategically placed mirrors that enhance spatial perception. The design's emphasis on functionality and simplicity is achieved through high-pressure laminated finishing techniques and the use of premium Indonesian woods, creating an environment that promotes mental well-being while maintaining practical livability. The project's success in balancing aesthetic refinement with functional design was recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its contribution to advancing contemporary residential interior design while preserving cultural connections through thoughtful material selection and spatial planning.
