Choclab Store is an innovative multi-brand boutique retail space that revolutionizes traditional storefront design through its unique architectural approach to privacy and revelation. Distinguished by its unconventional facade featuring geometric combinations and an apparently closed entrance, this retail environment creates an intriguing paradox between exclusivity and accessibility. The design, conceived by Bin Ye, deliberately challenges conventional retail architecture by eschewing the typical expansive window displays in favor of a more nuanced and mysterious presentation. The store's distinctive features include a ritualistic entrance marked by subtle golden perforations and minimalist signage, creating an compelling invitation to exploration. The interior architecture unfolds across two levels, with the ground floor characterized by a harmonious interplay of bright white spaces and vibrant gold accents, organized through intersecting geometric patterns that create distinct spatial zones. The second floor showcases sophisticated material choices, including hand-polished iron black walls and warm-toned leather elements that emphasize craftsmanship. A particularly innovative aspect of the design is the integration of a restaurant space, achieved through careful architectural solutions that address practical challenges such as odor control through strategic wall placement and transparent elements that create subtle spatial overlaps.
