Chiun Ju Interior Design

Chiun Ju Interior Design is a Taiwan-based design studio founded and directed by designer Steve Wu (Wu Qun-Chiao). The firm is known for its ability to merge modern classical aesthetics with contemporary spatial narratives, emphasizing both functionality and artistry. The studio’s works often explore the dialogue between light, material, and human experience, creating spaces that embody poetry, comfort, and cultural resonance. The practice specializes in residential design, commercial spaces, and adaptive renovation of existing buildings, with particular expertise in transforming aged houses into modern, livable, and elegant environments. Sustainability and budget-conscious innovation are central to its design approach, reflecting Wu’s academic research on how designers can achieve international award-winning quality within limited budgets. Chiun Ju Interior Design has achieved multiple international recognitions, including awards from the A’ Design Award in Italy, and its projects have been featured in media and exhibitions worldwide. The studio positions itself as both a creator of bespoke spaces and a contributor to the global design dialogue, representing a new generation of Taiwanese designers with an international perspective.
