Childlike Vividness Residence

Childlike Vividness Residence

Childlike Vividness Residence is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of fitness functionality and playful aesthetics within a residential space. Located in Taiwan, this 128.9-square-meter apartment renovation masterfully integrates exercise areas with family-friendly spaces, creating a unique living environment that caters to both adult fitness enthusiasts and children's recreational needs. The design, created by Yi-Ting Liao, features a sophisticated color palette combining pure white bases with vibrant accents of blue, pink, and purple, establishing a fresh and energetic atmosphere throughout the space. The residence's distinctive features include strategically placed fitness equipment near windows, enhanced by natural lighting and complemented by recessed lighting that creates a dreamy, starry sky effect. The interior layout encompasses four rooms, a living room, dining room, and two bathrooms, with special attention given to storage solutions, including a double-capacity dressing room and an open kitchen with an island. The project employs eco-friendly system panels, steel brush wood veneer, and carefully selected paint finishes to maintain environmental consciousness while achieving its aesthetic goals. The design's innovative approach to combining exercise space with childlike elements earned recognition at the A' Design Award competition, receiving an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its contribution to advancing residential interior design concepts. The project successfully addresses modern living challenges by incorporating specialized features such as an ERV system for fresh air circulation and custom-fitted appliances, demonstrating exceptional attention to both functional and aesthetic details.
