Chez Vous Branding is a comprehensive visual identity system developed for a Belgian restaurant in São Paulo, Brazil, exemplifying the sophisticated integration of cultural elements into contemporary brand design. This meticulously crafted branding project, completed in 2020 under the creative direction of Ruis Vargas, represents a significant achievement in cultural translation through visual communication design. The identity system masterfully reinterprets iconic Belgian cultural elements, including artistic references to Magritte and the Manneken Pis, while incorporating dialectical variations of the French language to create an authentic and immersive brand experience. The project encompasses a wide range of applications, including menu designs, posters, t-shirts, and packaging materials, all produced using a combination of offset printing in CMYK color scale and digital printing techniques. The visual language employs a distinctive illustration style that balances simplicity and sophistication, with menu materials printed on premium 300 g/m² offset paper and posters produced on 240 g/m² stock, ensuring superior quality across all touchpoints. The project's excellence in visual communication and cultural interpretation was recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in the Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design category, acknowledging its innovative approach to brand storytelling and cultural representation. The branding system's success lies in its ability to create a cohesive narrative that authentically represents Belgian culture while maintaining contemporary design sensibilities, effectively transforming the restaurant space into an immersive Belgian cultural experience through strategic visual elements and carefully considered graphic applications.
