Chengdu Luxelakes Eco-City Show Flat Show Flat

Chengdu Luxelakes Eco-City Show Flat Show Flat is an award-winning interior design project that exemplifies sophisticated residential space planning and innovative design thinking, completed in May 2018 in Chengdu, China. This 280-square-meter show flat, situated at the junction of Chengdu Plain and Longquan Mountain ranges, draws profound inspiration from the region's rich hydrological heritage and 2000-year history of water management. The design masterfully incorporates water-inspired elements throughout the space, featuring ultramarine accents in carpets, throw pillows, and curtains that create an elegant yet luxurious atmosphere. The thoughtful spatial arrangement includes a cleverly designed dining area where oval and curved furniture elements help optimize the long, narrow space. The living room combines greige walls and white upholstery with strategic gold accents to achieve a balanced, sophisticated ambiance, while the master bedroom employs light, neutral tones to create a warm, welcoming environment. The project demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in its material selection and furniture placement, with two distinctly styled guest rooms - one minimalist and one incorporating Neo-Chinese elements. The design successfully mediates between luxury and elegance, addressing the lifestyle needs of high-income residents while maintaining practical functionality. This innovative approach to residential design earned the project a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2019, recognizing its excellence in spatial planning, material selection, and cultural integration.
