Cetc Research Institute Testing Center is a landmark architectural complex situated in Hefei High-tech Zone, Anhui Province, representing a sophisticated integration of scientific research, system testing, and information center functionalities. The design masterfully combines contemporary architectural expression with traditional Hui-style architectural elements, creating a harmonious balance between modern technological requirements and cultural heritage. The facility encompasses 69,808 square meters and employs a distinctive courtyard-style layout that draws inspiration from local residential spaces, featuring a central atrium that facilitates natural daylighting, ventilation, and rainwater collection. The structural design incorporates cast-in-place reinforced concrete frame construction with cross-shaped roof beams, while the facade utilizes a combination of red and blue aluminum curtain walls complemented by glass windows, creating a refreshing and elegant visual aesthetic. The complex is organized through a free-flowing arrangement of buildings that forms multiple enclosed and open spatial patterns, promoting industrial agglomeration and collaborative innovation. This Silver A' Design Award-winning project, recognized in the Architecture, Building and Structure Design category, demonstrates exceptional achievement in sustainable design through its incorporation of green technologies and creation of public facilities that enhance user experience.
