Cave of Charlton Office is an innovative interior design project completed in Singapore, exemplifying a harmonious blend of professional workspace and residential comfort within a 1700-square-foot industrial building setting. Conceived and executed by designers Gary Ong and Judy Tay Wee Ting, this sophisticated office environment draws inspiration from the concept of an urban forest, translating natural elements into clean lines, forms, and neutral color palettes. The design successfully creates a dual-purpose space that serves both as a professional office and a showcase for interior design capabilities, featuring thoughtfully curated materials including timber, glass, mirrors, ceramic tiles, and natural stone. The space is strategically organized to accommodate various interaction modes, incorporating formal meeting rooms, casual discussion areas, and a kitchen facility, all while maintaining a cohesive design language that promotes well-being and productivity.
