Carbon Dashboard Mobile Application

Carbon Dashboard Mobile Application is an innovative digital solution designed to visualize and track personal carbon emissions through sophisticated data analysis and user behavior monitoring. This environmentally conscious application, developed by a team led by Yaping Shao, employs advanced algorithms to calculate users' daily carbon footprint based on their consumption patterns and travel routes, transforming complex environmental data into comprehensible visual representations. The application, optimized for iOS platforms with specific attention to iPhone 11 Pro Max specifications (1242px x 2688px, 458 PPI), serves as a powerful tool for environmental awareness and behavioral modification. Through its intuitive interface, the application categorizes various sources of carbon emissions, enabling users to identify and control high-carbon activities in their daily lives. The development, which spanned from September 2020 to May 2021, incorporates social ranking features to encourage competitive reduction of carbon footprints among users. The application's distinctive approach to environmental protection earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Sustainable Products, Projects and Green Design category, acknowledging its contribution to environmental consciousness through technological innovation. The dashboard's sophisticated algorithm transforms consumption behavior data into actionable insights, creating a translational relationship between daily activities and their environmental impact, while its social features foster community engagement in environmental protection efforts.
