Cappuccino Set Porcelain Cup And Saucer

Cappuccino Set Porcelain Cup And Saucer

Cappuccino set Porcelain cup and saucer is an exemplary piece of tableware design that demonstrates the harmonious fusion of functionality, aesthetics, and artisanal craftsmanship. Created by Canadian designer Etienne Carignan, this distinguished design features a 6-ounce capacity cup with a minimalist straight handle paired with an innovatively shaped saucer, both crafted from high-quality porcelain fired at 1250°C. The design draws inspiration from organic forms found in nature, particularly the fluid lines of leaves and exotic plants, translated into sophisticated porcelain pieces. The set's distinctive characteristics include a water drop-shaped saucer that facilitates ergonomic handling while providing dedicated space for accompanying snacks, and a cup with an interior design that enables creative latte art presentations. Each piece is handcrafted in Montreal using plaster molds, resulting in unique variations that celebrate the beauty of artisanal production. The production process involves sophisticated technical solutions to overcome molding challenges, particularly in achieving the optimal wall thickness and porcelain composition to prevent deformation during firing. The set's technical specifications include cup dimensions of 128mm x 95mm x 64mm and saucer dimensions of 170mm x 150mm x 25mm, with both pieces designed to be stackable and compatible with standard espresso machines. This innovative design, which earned the Silver A' Design Award in the Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design category, exemplifies excellence in both form and function, featuring a dishwasher-safe, glossy finish that ensures practicality alongside its aesthetic appeal.
