Cani Airwave Breathable Mattress is an innovative infant bedding solution designed specifically for babies with sensitive skin conditions, including atopic dermatitis. This specialized mattress, designed by Chun-Lung Chen, represents a significant advancement in pediatric sleep solutions through its integration of organic materials and advanced structural design. The mattress features a unique 3D honeycomb pressure-relieving texture and employs PET thermoplastic elastomer for optimal breathability and support. Constructed using European Food Law and FDA-approved PP material, the design is completely free from harmful substances such as plasticizers, formaldehyde, and BPA, making it exceptionally safe for infant use. The mattress's dimensions of 120cm x 60cm x 5cm are carefully calculated to provide optimal sleeping space for infants, while its innovative fibrous structure facilitates continuous airflow throughout. A distinguishing feature is its washability at temperatures between 55-60°C and quick-drying capability of 3-5 hours in sunlight, addressing practical maintenance needs. The design incorporates a sophisticated pocket spring structure that provides enhanced spinal support compared to conventional flat mattresses, demonstrating a thorough understanding of infant physiological requirements. This thoughtfully engineered product, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Baby, Kids and Children's Products Design category, exemplifies the harmonious blend of functionality, safety, and sustainable design principles in contemporary childcare products.
