Cafe En Seine Bar And Restaurant

Cafe en Seine Bar and Restaurant is an iconic hospitality venue in Dublin, Ireland, representing a masterful fusion of Art Deco, Art Nouveau, and French Colonial design influences, spanning an impressive 1,900 square meters across four floors of a protected structure. This Bronze A' Design Award-winning establishment, recognized in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, showcases exceptional spatial design through its seven distinct dining and drinking areas, each offering unique atmospheric experiences. The venue features remarkable architectural elements including 8-meter-high ceilings, a Parisian-inspired indoor street complete with 7-meter-high trees, and a retractable roof system that seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor spaces. The comprehensive redesign transformed the space to accommodate 1,100 patrons while creating intimate areas including a grand bar adorned with a magnificent mosaic ceiling and oversized pendants, a sophisticated cocktail bar featuring intricate timber and mosaic floors, and a luxurious library space. The establishment's innovative layout incorporates five bars, two kitchens, multiple dining areas, and a smoking terrace, all thoughtfully designed to optimize flow and enhance customer experience. The renovation project, completed in late 2018, successfully addressed previous challenges of dark, underutilized spaces by introducing improved lighting solutions and creating versatile areas that transition seamlessly from daytime dining to evening entertainment, capable of accommodating up to 300 seated diners simultaneously while maintaining operational efficiency and atmospheric quality.
