Blings Art Installation is a monumental public art installation that exemplifies the intersection of cultural commemoration and environmental artistry, created by the distinguished artist Yiming Min. This sophisticated installation, completed in November 2022, spans an impressive 11,000 square meters along a coastal setting, featuring fifteen meticulously crafted stainless steel sculptures inspired by local crude stones. Utilizing 316L anti-corrosion stainless steel, the sculptures undergo extensive tinting and polishing processes to achieve a distinctive textural contrast that both honors the original stone formations and elevates them through artistic interpretation. The installation's interactive design, reaching heights of 2.3 meters, enables intimate public engagement while incorporating palm prints of notable film personalities, creating a living memorial that continues to evolve with each film festival.
