Blanc Residential

Blanc Residential

Blanc Residential is an award-winning interior design project that exemplifies contemporary Japanese minimalist aesthetics within a 122-square-meter residential space in Taiwan. The design, completed in March 2021, showcases a sophisticated integration of materials including wood grilles, architectural concrete, and high-definition printing boards imported from Japan, creating a harmonious living environment across three floors. The project's distinctive features include a thoughtfully designed public area adorned in brown, white, and gray tones, incorporating suspended cabinets and system panels that create an ethereal sense of lightness. The innovative layout addresses spatial challenges through the strategic placement of glass sliding doors, which facilitate natural light distribution while maintaining functional separation between living spaces. The design's attention to detail is evident in elements such as hand-carved grooves, track lighting that enhances textural qualities, and the masterful combination of warm and cool tones that create a fresh yet comfortable atmosphere. The project, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates exceptional space optimization through features such as an extended L-shaped kitchen configuration and integrated bookshelves utilizing column spaces. The master bedroom introduces warmer orange tones while maintaining design consistency, and the overall project successfully balances aesthetic refinement with practical functionality for a young family with a toddler.
