365 Studio Beauty Saloon is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies the seamless integration of functionality and aesthetic excellence in contemporary beauty salon design. Located in Kyiv, Ukraine, this sophisticated establishment spans 250 square meters across two floors, featuring a distinctive architectural element in the form of a sculptural green steel banister that serves as both a functional and artistic centerpiece. The design, created by architect Olga Bogdanova and her team, revolutionizes the traditional beauty salon concept by implementing a parallel processing approach where up to five specialists can simultaneously attend to a client's needs. The space is meticulously organized to optimize workflow efficiency, drawing inspiration from Formula-1 pit stops to create a precisely choreographed service environment. The ground floor encompasses a main reception area, waiting room with bar facilities, manicure hall, sterilization room, and a dedicated men's zone with private access, while the first floor houses female-specific services including manicure and pedicure facilities, makeup stations, and hairdressing areas. The interior's ergonomic excellence is demonstrated through careful attention to detail, such as the precisely calculated swing angles of pedicure chairs and thoughtfully designed workspaces that maximize both client comfort and staff efficiency. The project, which earned the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, showcases exceptional technical innovation in its construction, particularly evident in the custom-fabricated steel banister that required specialized installation techniques similar to automotive manufacturing standards. The design's success lies in its ability to balance high-speed service delivery with a calming atmosphere, achieved through the use of organic forms, strategic incorporation of plant life, and a sophisticated color palette that promotes both efficiency and relaxation.
