324 Gallery Interior Design

324 Gallery Interior Design

324 Gallery Interior Design is an innovative residential interior design project that transforms a compact 324-square-foot apartment into a sophisticated living space that doubles as an art gallery, exemplifying excellence in space optimization and multifunctional design. The design, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, masterfully integrates customized cabinetry featuring crystallized display spaces specifically crafted for artwork collection presentation. The project's centerpiece is a meticulously designed feature wall incorporating various cave-in crystallized slots that serve as an artistic backdrop for sculptural interventions, with surfaces thoughtfully inclined at different angles to optimize artwork presentation. Enhanced by back-lit light troughs with yellow backdrops, the design creates an ambient atmosphere that elevates both the living space and art display functionality. The interior incorporates an organic-shaped storage platform that ingeniously combines storage solutions with a single bed, demonstrating exceptional space efficiency. The design's sophisticated approach to storage includes concealed doors and carefully carved display slots that prevent spatial oppression while maintaining organizational efficiency. Completed in October 2017, this design solution specifically addresses the challenges of high-density urban living while creating a harmonious balance between residential functionality and artistic display. The project showcases innovative use of materials including wood veneer and Formica sheet, implementing adjustable furniture elements and sliding door systems to create a flexible living environment that seamlessly transitions between domestic and gallery functions.
