2021 HBS New Year's Eve Concert Stage
2021 HBS New Year's Eve Concert Stage is an innovative and technologically advanced performance space that revolutionized the concept of modern concert stage design through its sophisticated integration of mechanical engineering and artistic vision. The centerpiece of this architectural marvel features a remarkable gyroscope apparatus with a diameter of 30 meters and a height of 25 meters, engineered to create an illusion of levitation through a central steel column support system. The stage complex encompasses seven distinct zones, including the Watchtower Stage, Time Stage, Dream-chasing Stage, and Starry Stage, each meticulously crafted to serve specific performance requirements while maintaining aesthetic cohesion. The central stage's sophisticated mechanical systems include a hydraulic cylinder capable of elevating the upper half by 3 meters, complemented by 12 CNC hoists controlling the outer ring for dynamic performer positioning. Drawing inspiration from the spinning top motif popularized in contemporary cinema, the design incorporates advanced technological features such as integrated LED screens, programmable lighting systems, and a CNC water curtain capable of creating variable patterns. This Silver A' Design Award-winning creation exemplifies the seamless fusion of functional engineering and artistic expression, featuring innovative elements such as modular water surface components, pyrotechnic integration capabilities, and a comprehensive lighting network embedded within the stage floor to enhance vertical depth perception.
