Appetisi Cheese is an innovative packaging design concept that revolutionizes the presentation and consumption experience of pre-cut cheese products, developed by French designer Fanny De Bray in collaboration with brand strategist Amandine Lantelme. The design, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, masterfully combines functionality with visual appeal through its distinctive transparent window feature that allows consumers to view the cheese contents while incorporating playful graphic elements that personify the product. This sophisticated packaging solution, conceived between July 2017 and February 2018, addresses contemporary consumer needs for convenient, gourmet snacking options while maintaining product freshness and visual appeal. The design's dimensions, carefully calculated at 150mm x 190mm for the dockpack and 127mm x 220mm for cheese slices, optimize shelf presence and storage efficiency. The concept successfully merges three key ideas - appetite appeal, snacking convenience, and practicality - into a cohesive design language that elevates the everyday cheese product into an engaging consumer experience. The transparent window serves both functional and aesthetic purposes, allowing product visibility while contributing to the packaging's playful character through clever integration with illustrated elements.
