Allure Residential House is an award-winning residential interior design project that masterfully blends Modern Farmhouse design with Parisian Chic aesthetics, completed in 2023 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This 1,980-square-foot apartment renovation, designed by Benny Weng Chen Wong and team, transformed a three-decade-old living space into a sophisticated contemporary dwelling that harmoniously balances functionality with aesthetic refinement. The design's distinctive features include carefully selected timber oak flooring, ceiling beams, and cabinetry, complemented by black paneled doors that enhance the Parisian chic ambiance. The interior architecture incorporates innovative elements such as a concealed door within a fluted feature wall, wainscoting details on cabinet doors and bedheads, and strategically placed timber beams that reinforce the modern farmhouse aesthetic. The spatial planning prioritizes fluid connectivity between living areas, featuring an open-plan layout that seamlessly integrates the living room, lounge, and terrace areas, while a sophisticated bar area serves as a stylish transition between spaces. The kitchen renovation includes an island installation and a breakfast counter, facilitating both daily living and entertainment purposes. The project's success in achieving a harmonious balance between classic and contemporary elements, coupled with its thoughtful integration of natural light through paneled glass windows, earned it a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, recognizing its excellence in spatial design and innovative approach to residential interior architecture.
