The architectural intervention draws its conceptual foundation from the ephemeral luminous phenomena of the aurora borealis, translating the atmospheric qualities of arctic light into a built environment that mediates between the stark natural landscape and intimate human-scale experiences through a carefully orchestrated progression of spatial sequences. The design employs a fundamental circular geometry measuring eighty meters in diameter and ten meters in height, a formal strategy that facilitates the continuous movement of water throughout the facility while establishing a hierarchical gradient from communal public functions to increasingly private therapeutic spaces, with all programmatic elements choreographed around a central atrium that serves as both organizational nucleus and experiential fulcrum.
