AI Accountability

AI Accountability is a way to make sure that when designers use artificial intelligence in their projects, there are clear steps to track decisions and actions taken by the AI. In governance, this means setting up simple records or logs that show how the AI made choices, who checked those choices, and what rules were followed. Designers can use these records to show that their work with AI follows agreed standards and is open for review. This helps everyone understand how and why the AI did something, which builds trust and makes it easier to improve future projects.

governance protocols, decision tracking, design transparency, compliance records
