Located in a verdant neighborhood of Lyngby, Denmark, this remarkable 37,317-square-meter development features a distinctive serpentine structure that gracefully winds through its 34,300-square-meter site, rising from ground level to a maximum height of six floors. The design employs a revolutionary modular approach utilizing repeatable trapezoid shapes that rotate within the same radius to create an organic, flowing form. The structure's most notable feature is its accessible green roof, which doubles as a public walking path, offering panoramic views and featuring diverse gardens with multiple species of trees and bushes. The building's curved form creates intimate courtyards that foster social interaction among students while maintaining a strong connection to the natural environment. Certified at DGNB Denmark silver level, the complex incorporates numerous sustainable features, including energy-efficient systems that reuse 90% of extracted air for heating, heat-accumulating floor constructions, and full-height glazed facades that maximize natural daylight. The development spans approximately one kilometer in length and includes a central round-shaped building of 1,300 square meters that houses communal facilities.
