Because So Concept Store is an innovative retail space design project that exemplifies contemporary minimalist architecture through its distinctive use of box elements and spatial interaction. Created by designer Chaoran Liu, this concept store represents a sophisticated exploration of human-space relationships, particularly focusing on the interaction between people and geometric forms. The design philosophy embraces a refined approach to simplicity, utilizing a monochromatic palette of black, white, and gray tones complemented by metallic linear elements to create a cohesive aesthetic experience. The store's architectural composition features two primary art booths: one measuring 3m x 1.4m x 0.65m and another spanning 6.5m x 0.8m x 1.05m, both carefully engineered to serve multiple functions including product display, aesthetic appreciation, and customer rest areas. The project, completed in Fuzhou in November 2019, demonstrates exceptional attention to lighting effects and spatial harmony, creating an atmosphere that balances security with sophistication. The design's innovative approach to retail space earned recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its contribution to advancing retail design concepts.
