Boxes Shop is an innovative retail space design project that exemplifies contemporary interior architecture through its sophisticated geometric exploration and spatial composition. Located in the Gulou District of Nanjing, this 100-square-meter high-end children's clothing retail establishment demonstrates a masterful integration of form and function through its distinctive use of square and circular elements. The design's conceptual framework revolves around the decomposition and recombination of geometric shapes, creating a dynamic interplay between virtual and real retail spaces. The project's most notable feature is its innovative BOX concept, which transforms the traditional window display area into three distinct spaces: entrance, display, and scene, utilizing plane, inclined plane, and cut plane morphologies to enhance the facade's visual impact. The interior space is characterized by strategically positioned partition walls that create meandering pathways, while elevated floor sections serve multiple purposes including display, storage, and leisure areas. The implementation of infinity mirrors throughout the space amplifies spatial perception and stimulates imagination, breaking conventional retail design paradigms.
