Bao'an Tourism Gifts Drinkware is an innovative tea set collection that masterfully combines traditional Chinese cultural elements with contemporary design aesthetics, drawing inspiration from the iconic Phoenix Tower in Bao'an District. This sophisticated drinkware series, recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Giftware Design category, represents a harmonious fusion of cultural heritage and modern functionality. The collection features meticulously crafted ceramics produced using the historic Shengkou Kiln techniques from Shexian County, Anhui Province, a tradition dating back to the Tang Dynasty with over 1,170 years of history. The tea sets showcase distinctive single-color glazes in black-brown and black-green hues, demonstrating exceptional craftsmanship and artistic value. The design's packaging employs environmentally conscious materials, utilizing eco-friendly pulp for the outer box complemented by contemporary envelope labels, measuring 50cm×16cm×12cm. Developed through an eight-month research and design process from October 2022 to June 2023, this drinkware collection embodies the concept of Bao'an Youli, successfully integrating local cultural elements into daily life while addressing modern lifestyle needs. The design philosophy centers on the poetic notion that with the pagoda in hand, life is worry-free, creating a meaningful connection between traditional architectural symbolism and contemporary tea appreciation practices.
